How to Make Homemade Pancakes

Tired of always zipping to the supermarket just for a measly box of tiresome pancakes? Look no further! Here is a recipe that will keep you from getting tired just after breakfast.




  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups (190 grams) flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups (350 ml) milk


  1. Mix up the dry ingredients.
  2. Melt the butter.3
  3. Whisk the eggs.
  4. Combine the butter, eggs and milk in a separate bowl.
  5. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients.
  6. Mix gently as to not over mix the batter.
  7. Add the wet ingredients. Melt 1 and a half tablespoons of butter.
  8. Put a small slice of butter on a nonstick pan, turn the heat up to medium, and allow the butter to melt.
  9. Use a ladle to pour rounds of batter into the pan.
  10. Flip the pancakes when you see tiny bubbles popping on the surface of the pancake. Then allow it to cook a few more minutes on the other side until it is brown.
  11. Garnish the pancake with honey, or butter or syrup after it has cooled down.
